OctoPlus has expanded its headquarters in Leiden with new manufacturing facilities, laboratories and offices. This will expand our capacities in the areas of formulation development, in-line filling, freeze-drying and cGMP manufacturing of final product.

New state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities opening this year!

Our manufacturing areas are equipped with: 

• Fully automatic filling line with washer, depyrogenation tunnel and stoppering/capping device for injection vials (1 - 50 ml) 
• Validated capacity up to 10,000 vials per batch 
• Phase I, II and small/medium sized Phase III manufacturing 
• Lyofast 2,5 and 5 m² plate capacity freeze dryer with automatic stoppering device and SIP 
• 2 double door steam sterilizers (902 and 856 liter volume) + hot air drying 
• Double door self-draining equipment washer (682 liter volume) 
• Cool rooms 5^oC and -20^oC 
• Forced cool-down autoclave 
• Terminal sterilisation for sensitive products 
• Filling pump for manual filling 
• Equipment for the preparation of complex formulations (e.g. homogeniser)

- Our Fill & Finish activities are backed by more than 13 years of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing expertise

- We offer flexibility and accountability through a dedicated project team that works according to the budget and timelines of the agreed project plan
- Clinical trial material will be released by our experienced QA department under the supervision of one of our Qualified Persons.
