Introduction program
Welcome on board
Once you are a new employee, you will receive proper guidance. It is important both for you and for us that you are able to function on your own as soon as possible. That you integrate quickly and feel at ease. That is why there is a special training program.
On the first day of work you will be inaugurated by your direct executive. He or she will tell you everything about, for example, company culture, employees and responsibilities in the organisation.
You will get a mentor who will help you to find your way in jour new position. He or she is your guide and your walking encyclopedia as far as the content of your work is concerned. Your mentor will provide you with personal guidance and he will make you familiar with the organisation. Besides, your mentor can act as your career and education guide.
The purpose of the general introduction program is to go through all ins and outs of the company. So you will have a Human Resources introduction that explains all about, for example, how to submit request for leave or how to arrange for your pension. And you will also be told how Facilities and ICT work. And not irrelevant: we give you the history of our beginning, the vision of the future and our strategy. In addition to that our company’s culture will be explained to you.
And then there is also a practical individual training program. It gives you a clearer idea about things you specifically should be able to do and about things you have to know to work in your position. Agreements with your mentor or with your direct executive will be made concerning the content and the period of your individual training program. It is, above all, a training-on-the-job.
Naturally, you will have regular discussions with your mentor during the first six months. In this way we do not only know about your technical development as a newcomer, but also about your integration within the organisation. In the ninth month we will evaluate your work, on the basis of which we make decisions about a permanent appointment.
